Maintenance Technician

Wilmington, MA (Onsite)

Pay Range: $27–$37/hour

2nd Shift 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM

We are seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician to support production and facility operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for preventive maintenance, equipment troubleshooting, process support, and helping maintain reliable production uptime.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on production equipment and facility systems
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and process-related issues
• Complete maintenance documentation and work logs
• Support production teams with equipment repairs and process improvements
• Conduct daily maintenance inspections and identify potential issues
• Maintain safe work practices and follow SOPs and quality standards
• Support continuous improvement, 5S, and lean manufacturing initiatives
• Assist with tooling, fixtures, and manufacturing aid improvements
• Participate in root cause analysis and corrective actions

Qualifications

• 2+ years of maintenance or manufacturing experience preferred
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Familiarity with manufacturing processes, SOPs, and safety procedures
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office and Google Suite
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
• Technical training or maintenance certifications are a plus
• Must be comfortable with occasional on-call availability

Preferred Experience

• Manufacturing, production, or industrial maintenance environments
• Lean manufacturing or 5S experience
• Additive manufacturing or precision equipment experience

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
• Frequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching
• Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with PPE requirements
