The Maintenance Technician position is responsible for performing highly diversified duties. Responsibilities may include building, installing and maintaining equipment, performing preventative maintenance and repairs and applying knowledge in a variety of skilled trade areas. |
Essential Functions: (essential functions, including how an individual is to perform them and frequency at which tasks are performed; the tasks must be part of the job function and truly necessary or required to perform the job) |
- Installs, maintains and repairs machines and equipment in plant and related facilities
- Performs a variety of preventative maintenance on parts, pumps, motors, hydraulic systems and related plant and facility equipment.
- Performs a variety of maintenance requiring knowledge of plumbing, pipefitting, carpentry, electrical, electronics, welding and other skilled trades as appropriate or applicable.
- Operates a variety of hand and power tools, equipment, and machinery in the maintenance repair, and fabrication of parts, machines and equipment.
- Completes work orders and paperwork regarding daily maintenance and repair duties
- Assists with contractors and subcontractors
- Ensures compliance with operating policies and procedures to maintain a safe environment and efficient operations; may require wearing appropriate safety equipment and gear
- Assists with maintaining a safe and clean work environment and may perform various janitorial or housekeeping tasks.
- Performs other duties as assigned

Korn Ferry Competencies: |
Required: - Good knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry and overall general maintenance
- High mechanical ability
- PLC (Programmable Logic Controllers) experience
- At least one year of HVAC experience
- At least one year of Pneumatic experience
- Ability to use hand tools and power tools
- MIG & TIG Welding experience
- Familiarity with Microsoft Word & Excel
- Ability to work in a collaborative environment
- Good troubleshooter
- Excellent verbal/ written communication and customer service skills
- Solid work ethic with a commitment to consistent on-time work attendance
Preferred: - Familiarity with Outlook or other e-mail system
- Master Plumber and/or Master Electrician

- High school diploma or GED or trade school certification or certificate program completion
- Minimum of five years of experience in a maintenance role in an industrial/ manufacturing environment
