**Position Summary
**
RCR Enterprises is seeking a skilled, dependable Maintenance Technician to maintain its buildings, equipment, and building systems. This hands-on role includes preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and support for construction and remodeling projects. The ideal candidate has experience with electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems, works well independently and with a team, and takes pride in keeping our facilities safe and operational.
**Key Responsibilities
**
Inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems within the scope of assigned work and applicable qualifications.
Diagnose electrical issues involving wiring, lighting, outlets, breakers, controls, motors, and equipment connections; complete authorized repairs and installations.
Service and troubleshoot heating, cooling, and ventilation equipment. Perform seasonal maintenance such as changing filters, cleaning coils, and checking controls.
Repair plumbing leaks, drains, fixtures, water heaters, and pumps; perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance.
Complete general building repairs, including doors, windows, ceiling tiles, fixtures, and minor structural damage.
Maintain and repair facilities equipment and machinery.
Assist with new construction, renovations, and building remodels.
Respond to maintenance requests, identify underlying issues, and communicate repair plans and progress to the Facilities Manager and affected teams.
Complete work orders and maintenance records accurately, and keep tools, equipment, and work areas clean and organized.
Coordinate with teammates and outside contractors when projects require additional support.
Follow applicable safety procedures and use required personal protective equipment.
Participate in occasional evening or weekend on-call coverage for urgent repairs and work overtime as needed.

**Qualifications
**
High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or a trade certification preferred.
At least three years of general facilities or building maintenance experience, with practical experience in electrical, HVAC, or plumbing work.
Ability to troubleshoot equipment and building systems, read technical manuals, and interpret blueprints or schematics.
Familiarity with applicable building and trade requirements and the judgment to recognize when licensed trade work or a specialist is needed.
Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to take initiative, follow direction, and work effectively independently and with others.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for travel between facilities.
Experience in construction and additional electrical, HVAC, or plumbing trades is preferred. Relevant licenses and certifications are a plus. RCR supports a technician who brings strong maintenance fundamentals and is willing to develop skills in other areas.
**Working Conditions and Physical Requirements
**
Work is performed indoors and outdoors throughout the year, including around operating machinery and in areas that may be noisy, hot, cold, or confined. The position involves frequent bending, stooping, crawling, climbing ladders, and using hand and power tools. The technician must be able to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.
