Role: Manufacturing & Maintenance Technician

Location: Vista, CA

Target Pay: $32 - $35/hour

Industry Context: Medical Device Manufacturing (highly regulated)

What We Need:

Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.

Experience: At least 2 years of technical support experience specifically within a manufacturing environment.

Core Skillset: Hands-on industrial maintenance experience covering both electrical and mechanical troubleshooting.

Technical Literacy: Proven ability to use multimeters, read schematic drawings, and troubleshoot computer-controlled systems.

Location: Must currently reside within a reasonable commuting distance to the Vista, CA facility.

Physicality: Capable of lifting 50 lbs, standing/sitting for long periods, and possessing strong manual dexterity.

What to Look For**

Automation & Controls: PLC (Programmable Logic Controller), HMI (Human-Machine Interface), Robotics, Automation, Sensors, Photosensors.

Maintenance Types: Preventive Maintenance (PM), Troubleshooting, Repair, Calibration, Pneumatics, Hydraulics.

Compliance & Safety: OSHA, LOTO (Lockout/Tagout), FDA, ISO 13485, Clean Room, SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures), PPE.

Tools: Multimeter, Schematics, Blueprints, Test Equipment.

Nice to Have:**

Medical Device Background: Candidates who already have experience working under strict FDA and ISO 13485 quality standards will have a much shorter learning curve.

You should be proficient in:

• OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturing)

Machines & technologies you'll use:

• Programmable Logic Controller (PLC)
