Maintenance Technician

Full-Time | 3rd Shift – 10:00PM–6:30AM, Monday–Friday

Location – Versailles, Ohio

Aegis Worldwide is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join a food manufacturing team. This role is responsible for performing maintenance and repair on production equipment and facility systems to ensure safe, efficient, and continuous operations. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude, reliability, and a proactive attitude toward equipment care and safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repair on machines, electrical equipment, and facility systems.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues involving hydraulics, motors, and conveyors.
• Conduct preventative maintenance (PMs) and accurately document all maintenance activities.
• Perform welding, plumbing, pipe fitting, and general mechanical work as needed.
• Utilize hand and power tools, precision measuring devices, and electrical testing instruments.
• Follow all safety, food safety, and quality procedures while maintaining a clean work area.
• Collaborate with team members and leadership to minimize downtime and improve efficiency.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year of industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience (or recent trade school graduate).
• Experience with hand tools, power tools, and blueprints required.
• Welding experience required.
• Knowledge of hydraulics, motors, and conveyor systems preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and mechanical aptitude.
• Reliable, safety-conscious, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
