Maintenance Technician
Location:Van Buren, IN
Pay:$35.00/hour
Shift:Day Shift |4:00 AM – 4:15 PM| 2-2-3 Schedule
Position Summary
A growing food manufacturing facility is seeking aMaintenance Technicianto join its maintenance team. This hands-on role is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining production equipment to maximize uptime, improve reliability, and support safe, efficient operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventative and reactive maintenance on production equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and automated systems.
- Assist with PLC and controls troubleshooting.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
- Complete work orders and document repairs using a CMMS.
- Support root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Follow all OSHA, LOTO, GMP, and safety procedures.
Qualifications
- Previous industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment (food & beverage preferred).
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
- Experience with conveyors, motors, pumps, gearboxes, hydraulics, pneumatics, and automated production equipment.
- PLC troubleshooting experience is preferred.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
