Maintenance Technician

2nd OR WEEKEND SHIFT/$29-$35/hr/FULL TIME

Twinsburg, OH

Overview:

Aegis Worldwide is curently partnered with a plastic bottle drink manufacturer.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment including motors, conveyors, pneumatic tools, and machinery to ensure reliable operation.

• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and PLC-related equipment issues to minimize downtime.

• Complete assigned PMs and work orders accurately, including documentation of repairs, parts usage, and maintenance activities.

• Support production by coordinating maintenance activities and assisting with adjustments to maintain optimal line efficiency.

• Monitor and adjust equipment operating parameters such as speeds, temperatures, and fluid levels to ensure proper performance.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or high-speed production environment, or equivalent technical education.

• Formal technical or college education (minimum 2 years post-high school) or relevant certifications preferred.

• Hands-on experience with PLCs and the ability to troubleshoot automated equipment.

• Strong mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshooting skills.

• Ability to read SOPs, machine schematics, and blueprints; computer proficiency and initiative to expand technical skills.
