SUMMARY OF ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to install, maintain, and repair machinery and equipment, ensuring a safe and efficient working environment.
WORK SCHEDULE:
Monday-Friday, 7:00am-3:30pm
SPECIFIC DUTIES, ACTIVITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
- Troubleshoot and repair equipment using manuals and specifications.
- Disassemble and replace worn or damaged parts and reassemble machinery.
- Prepare parts lists and assist with the relocation and installation of equipment.
- Conduct preventive maintenance and mount equipment according to specifications.
- Follow all safety and environmental policies during operations.
Requirements
EHS REQUIREMENTS:
- Complete all work in a safe manner and follow all safety requirements consistent with supporting the company’s TRIR goals.
- Follow all environmental requirements consistent with supporting the company’s environmental performance goals.
- Complete, and actively participate in all the company’s Safety Skills training requirements
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- MIG welding experience is required.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required.
- 12 months of related repair and maintenance experience.
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and correspondence.
- Capable of regularly lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds.
- Basic proficiency with hand tools is preferred.
- Ability to obtain Forklift certification.
- Valid Driver's License and proficiency in English.
- Willingness to work overtime as required.
- Must successfully pass a drug test and background check as part of the hiring process.
PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be able to stand, stoop, kneel, or crouch for extended periods of time as the task dictates.
- Must be able to maneuver to all areas of a plant or warehouse.
- Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds with occasional moving up to 100 pounds.
- Must be able to safely bend, reach, kneel, twist, and grip items while working at area.
- Must have the manual dexterity and coordination to operate hand and mechanical tools.
- Must be able to safely mount and dismount from the back of a truck.
- Must be able to work at a fast pace.
- Must be able to tolerate changing priorities, and complete assignments despite frequent interruptions.
- Must be able to respond to visual and aural cues.
- Must have a valid Driver License
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Work environment is typically considered within an ELS location during normal or extended business hours. Work environment is a manufacturing plant and warehouse containing equipment with moving mechanical parts and moderate noise levels.
