Position Title: Maintenance Technician

Position Summary: This position will work as part of the maintenance team to ensure the Tualatin facilities and machinery operate safely, efficiently, and according to the production plan. The Maintenance Technician will carry out assigned work orders to complete preventative maintenance and improvement projects. Developing and maintaining CILs and Centerlines will also be routine tasks.
Job Responsibilities:
Complete assigned work orders and enter completion information using CMMS maintenance software.
Diagnose mechanical problems and determine how to correct them as necessary.
Assist in the ordering of appropriate parts and supplies for the department.
Follow GMP standards.
Maintain and repair specialized machinery.
Assist in machinery assembly, installation, electrical or electronic components, and utility connections.
Work with the team to determine setpoints for the centerline program and with the larger operations team to further develop and implement it.
Strive for continuous improvement and efficiency.
Qualifications & Experience:
Three-plus years of related equipment maintenance experience with packaging lines, boilers, pumps, and chillers
Two plus years of experience using a computerized maintenance management system
Two plus years of experience in a maintenance role at a food production facility
Experience using and following Lock Out Tag Out procedures
Ability to read and understand an electrical diagram
Ability to read and interpret parts diagrams to determine the correct part number, aiding in ordering needed parts.
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including AM, PM, and weekend shifts.
Additional Experience:
Welding certification or verified welding experience
Current LME (Limited Maintenance Electrician) license
Two plus years of experience working with electrical and pneumatic controls
Physical Requirements:
Ability to walk and stand for long periods
Ability to carry at least 50 lbs
Work Environment:
While performing the duties of this position, the worker may be exposed to inside environmental conditions, hot fluids, pressurized vessels and transfer lines, strong odors, chemicals, noise levels above 85 decibels, confined spaces, refrigerated gases, powered industrial trucks, and moving machinery.
