Maintenance Technician – Travelers Rest, SC

Pay: $30–$35/hour, based on experience

Schedule: Full-Time | Monday–Friday

2nd Shift: 3:00 PM–11:30 PM

3rd Shift: 11:00 PM–7:00 AM

Express Employment Professionals is hiring experienced Maintenance Technicians for a well-established manufacturer in Travelers Rest, SC.

What You'll Do:

• Perform preventive maintenance on production and facility equipment
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic equipment issues
• Troubleshoot control circuits, sensors, motors, drives, and production equipment
• Read and interpret mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic schematics
• Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic systems, including pumps, valves, and related components
• Identify equipment problems and determine effective corrective actions
• Use diagnostic meters, prints, manuals, and technical resources to troubleshoot equipment
• Maintain accurate preventive maintenance and repair documentation
• Assist with identifying and obtaining parts and supplies needed for repairs
• Follow all safety procedures, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and PPE requirements
• Support continuous improvement and equipment reliability efforts

What We're Looking For:

• 3–5 years of industrial maintenance experience in manufacturing or a related technical environment
• High school diploma or GED required
• Technical or vocational training in industrial maintenance preferred
• Strong mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic troubleshooting skills
• Preventive maintenance experience
• Ability to read schematics, prints, and technical documentation
• Experience using maintenance tools and diagnostic meters
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills
• Ability to work independently and adapt in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
