Job Description

This position at the Sulphur Springs, Texas plant is responsible for the installation, rebuilding, repairing and maintenance of specialized automated packaging and auxiliary equipment. Candidate may be assigned to days or may be assigned to nights - must be flexible to work either shift.

Work includes, but is not limited to, troubleshooting complex equipment, reading and interpreting manuals and work orders, maintaining a clean, safe work environment, and active participation in continuous improvement initiatives. Responsible for ensuring quality standards, adhering to GMPs and contributing to effective team interaction. Perform other duties as directed by supervisors.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Three to five years' (or more) experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment (food/bev industry preferred) or Electro/Mechanical Technologies/Equipment degree or certifications
• High School diploma or GED preferred (post High School education a huge plus)
• Excellent electrical, mechanical and troubleshooting skills
• Active participation in continuous improvement and employee engagement initiatives
• Solid reading, writing and math skills
• Demonstrated effective interpersonal communication skills, leadership and initiative
• PLC, Control Logix and knowledge/skills in HVAC are highly preferred
• Prior experience with plant systems, such as boilers, compressed air, and ammonia/refrigeration, is a plus.
