Maintenance Technician 

Regular Position, Full Time

Courion is looking to fill the position of Maintenance Technician, who under the direction of the Maintenance Manager will primarily be responsible for performing general maintenance on Courion’s facility and machinery. 
 

Requirements 

We are searching for a candidate with: 

• 3 years of experience in facility maintenance  

• Basic knowledge of electrical theory, including the use of meters, understanding voltage, phases, and resistance 

• Good electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills 

• Experience in plumbing, carpentry, wiring, and machining preferred 

• Must know how to use a pipe bender, pipe/tube cutter, and threaders. 

• Ability to accurately read various types of gauges and meters. 

• Basic welding machine and MIG feeder repair skills 

• Experience using CMMS 

• Familiar with lock out, tag out procedures 

• Must be a champion of safety 

• Experience in a manufacturing environment strongly preferred 

Duties and Responsibilities 

A typical day may include:   

• Maintenance and repair of machinery, equipment, plumbing, and electrical and mechanical systems. 

• Some carpentry work and mechanical metal work on machines 

• Troubleshoot and repair welding equipment 

• Repair of handheld electrical production tools and air hand tools 

• Respond to and fix any employee’s minor repair requests in office and plant. 

• Maintenance of high-pressure hydraulic equipment 

• Maintenance and repair of forklifts 

• Monitor the facility to ensure that it remains safe, secure, and well maintained
