Job Description

Manufacturing Company is seeking a Maintenance Electrician to maintain all plant and production operations.

Essential Functions:

• Work safely with high voltage electrical systems up to 480 volts three phase, utilizing extreme care on troubleshooting & repairs where high voltages are involved. 
• Perform highly diversified duties to install and maintain production machines and the plant facility’s equipment.
• Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service.
• Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
• Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make necessary adjustments.
• Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment and plant facilities.
• Detect faulty operations, defective material and report those and any unusual situations to proper supervision.
• Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.

• Other duties as directed by Management 

Requirements:

• Technical Capacity
• Forklift Certified
• PLC Experience
• Must have experience with Electrical, mechanical, pneumatics, and hydraulics.

• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
• EPA Certification a plus
• Time management skills – will be required to work on multiple projects at various stages of completion 
• A Positive, Self-Motivated Attitude

Work Environment: While performing the duties of this job the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The noise

Experience: Five years’ related experience

• While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. 
• This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling and climbing all day
• The employee must frequently lift and /or move items over 75 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

• This is a full-time position, 
• Non-Exempt with no supervisory responsibility
• Hours of work and days are Monday through Friday 8 hours per day
• Overtime as needed
