About the Role:

We’re looking for a hands-on Maintenance Technician to join a well-established manufacturer in the health and beauty industry located in Smyrna, TN. In this role, you’ll be responsible for setting up, maintaining, and troubleshooting high-speed packaging and production equipment used to produce a variety of consumer products. What You’ll Do:

  • Set up and adjust packaging and production lines for various product runs.
  • Monitor machinery performance and perform timely troubleshooting and repairs.
  • Clean, flush, and prepare filling systems during product changeovers.
  • Calibrate and fine-tune fillers, cappers, and labelers to ensure consistent quality and efficiency.
  • Perform daily maintenance such as lubrication, belt changes, and basic mechanical adjustments.
  • Participate in scheduled preventive maintenance and continuous improvement initiatives.

Work Environment:

This position is based in an indoor production setting. Team members work around active machinery, moving parts, and moderate noise levels (hearing protection provided). Some temperature variation may occur depending on the area of the facility. Following safety protocols and maintaining awareness of surroundings is essential.

Physical Demands:

The role requires regular standing, bending, and movement around equipment. Must be able to lift and handle parts or tools weighing up to 60 lbs. Reasonable accommodations may be provided for qualified individuals with disabilities.

What We’re Looking For:

  • At least 1 year of mechanical or maintenance experience in a manufacturing or production environment, or completion of a 2-year technical/trade program in a related field.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving ability.
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings, schematics, and production schedules.
  • Proven commitment to safety, teamwork, and quality.
