Job Description

Blue Chip Talent, in partnership with a plastics manufacturing organization, is seeking a skilled Direct Hire** **Maintenance Technician. This role is responsible for performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting mechanical and electrical equipment issues, and maintaining plastic injection molding and auxiliary equipment in a production environment.

Job Duties:

• Complete preventative maintenance tasks on injection molding and auxiliary equipment
• Troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical equipment issues
• Diagnose and repair production machinery to minimize equipment downtime
• Maintain auxiliary equipment including dryers, loaders, hot runner systems, cooling towers, and grinders
• Complete assigned maintenance work orders and equipment repairs
• Collect equipment repair and performance data to support predictive maintenance initiatives
• Document maintenance activities, repairs, inspections, and completed work
• Support equipment reliability and preventative maintenance programs

Skills & Experience

Required:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a similar manufacturing environment, or 1+ year of applicable apprenticeship experience
• Plastic injection molding equipment maintenance experience
• Hands-on mechanical troubleshooting and repair experience with manufacturing machinery
• Hydraulic and pneumatic troubleshooting experience
• Electrical troubleshooting experience
• Hydraulic and electrical maintenance training

Desired:

• Experience maintaining injection molding auxiliary equipment, including dryers, loaders, hot runner systems, cooling towers, or grinders
• Experience with preventative and predictive maintenance programs
• PLC troubleshooting or diagnostic exposure
• Experience collecting and documenting equipment maintenance and repair data
