Job Description

One of our manufacturing client is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join their team in Schaumburg, IL.

**Pay Rate: **$25/hr - $30/hr

**Shift: **2nd shift

Responsibilities:

• Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment and facility systems

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment

• Diagnose equipment failures and implement timely corrective actions to minimize production downtime

• Maintain and repair motors, conveyors, pumps, gearboxes, compressors, and automated production machinery

• Perform equipment inspections and recommend improvements to enhance reliability and efficiency

• Read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, and technical manuals

• Assist with equipment installations, machinery upgrades, and production line improvements

• Complete work orders and maintain accurate maintenance records using CMMS software

Qualifications:

• Associate's Degree preferred or Trade School Certificate in Industrial Maintenance or a related field

• 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment

• Strong troubleshooting skills involving mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems

• Experience maintaining and repairing industrial machinery, conveyors, motors, pumps, gearboxes, and automated equipment

• Experience with PLC troubleshooting and industrial automation systems

• Welding, fabrication, or machining experience is an asset
