STEM DTS is looking for an Industrial Maintenance Technician to join one of our clients in Salisbury, North Carolina. This position is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, installing, and maintaining a wide range of industrial production equipment and facility systems. The ideal candidate will possess a strong electro-mechanical background, hands-on experience with PLC-controlled equipment, and expertise working with pumps, valves, and other mechanical systems in a manufacturing or industrial environment. This role requires a safety-focused professional who can independently diagnose equipment issues, perform preventative maintenance activities, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that maximize equipment reliability and uptime.
Key Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial manufacturing equipment, including mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Diagnose and resolve equipment failures using established troubleshooting methodologies.
- Perform preventative and predictive maintenance activities on production equipment and plant systems.
- Install, align, and maintain pumps, valves, oxygen sensors, boilers, chillers, cooling towers and related equipment.
- Troubleshoot electrical systems, including motors, drives, sensors, relays, and control circuits.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, blueprints, and technical manuals.
- Assist with PLC troubleshooting, fault identification, and basic programming modifications as needed.
- Support equipment startups, changeovers, and capital improvement projects.
- Collaborate with operations, engineering, and maintenance personnel to improve equipment reliability and efficiency.
