JOB SUMMARY:
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing production equipment and facility systems to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operations. This role performs preventive maintenance, responds to equipment failures, and supports continuous improvement efforts while maintaining compliance with all safety and regulatory requirements.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment, finishing systems, and facility infrastructure to maximize equipment reliability and minimize downtime.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and automated equipment, including PLC- and VFD-controlled systems.
- Maintain powder coating, e-coat, conveyor, oven, pump, and utility systems to ensure safe and efficient operation.
- Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns, identify root causes, implement corrective actions, and document maintenance activities.
- Perform building and facility maintenance, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, painting, and general repairs.
- Complete scheduled inspections, preventive maintenance tasks, and maintain accurate maintenance records.
- Coordinate with production and other departments to improve equipment performance, support continuous improvement initiatives, and manage spare parts as needed.
- Follow all safety policies and regulatory requirements, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), PPE, and applicable federal and state regulations.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment and perform other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education/Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree in Industrial Maintenance or a related technical field preferred.
- Minimum of three (3) years of education and/or experience in an industrial or mechanical maintenance role.
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and electrical schematics.
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills.
