Maintenance Electrician / Mechanic (Bilingual English/Spanish)

Vancouver, WA

$30.00 - $32.00 per hour (DOE)

Day Shift | Monday-Friday | 6:00am- 2:30pm

A leading manufacturing facility in Vancouver, WA is seeking an experienced Maintenance Electrician/Mechanic to join its Utility Department. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled bilingual maintenance professional who enjoys troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining industrial manufacturing equipment in a fast-paced production environment.

Key Responsibilities

-Troubleshoot, repair, install, and adjust manufacturing equipment both mechanically and electrically.-Perform preventive maintenance and document repairs and maintenance activities.-Diagnose equipment issues using test results, machine error messages, schematics, and operator feedback.-Maintain operational uptime of industrial production and processing machinery.-Read and interpret blueprints, electrical diagrams, and manufacturer manuals.-Perform welding, metal fabrication, and assembly of new equipment as needed.-Program and troubleshoot computer-controlled machinery.-Support machine operators by explaining equipment functions and operation.-Track parts and materials used and assist with inventory replenishment.

Qualifications

-Bilingual in English and Spanish is required.-Minimum 3 years of maintenance electrician/mechanic experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting.Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities with electrical and mechanical systems.-Experience reading electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.-Ability to work independently and effectively prioritize repairs.-Strong critical thinking and leadership potential.-Must provide own tools.-Preferred Technical Knowledge-PLC troubleshooting-Hydraulics-Pneumatics-Power and control circuits-Welding and fabrication-Electronics-Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures-Industrial machinery maintenance and repair

Physical & Equipment Requirements

-Ability to safely operate forklifts, chain hoists, welding equipment, and standard/metric hand tools.-Manual dexterity to work with wiring, electrical components, and mechanical systems.
