- $28–$45/hour, depending on experience
- 2nd Shift Differential: +$1.00/hour
- 3rd Shift Differential: +$0.50/hour
- Overtime: 1.5x after 40 hours, 2x on Sundays, and 3x on holidays

Overview
Aegis Worldwide has partnered with a well-established heavy manufacturing company in Richmond, IN to hire multiple Industrial Maintenance Technicians. This facility specializes in high-pressure die casting and precision machining for the automotive and recreational markets.
This is a hands-on industrial maintenance position responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining die casting machines, CNC equipment, punch presses, robotics, automation systems, and other production equipment throughout the facility.
There are currently multiple openings on 2nd and 3rd shift, with significant overtime opportunities and long-term career growth.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and repair industrial machinery and production equipment
- Perform emergency repairs, equipment rebuilds, and preventative maintenance
- Diagnose electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical issues
- Troubleshoot motors, sensors, VFDs, controls, and electrical systems
- Troubleshoot PLC-controlled equipment and use PLC interfaces to diagnose equipment problems
- Troubleshoot CNC machines, automation systems, and robotics
- Read and interpret electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical schematics
- Support maintenance and repair of die casting machines, punch presses, robots, CNCs, and other production equipment
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment
Requirements
- Previous industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong electrical troubleshooting skills
- Experience troubleshooting hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- Ability to read electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical schematics
- Experience troubleshooting industrial machinery and production equipment
- PLC, CNC, robotics, automation, and VFD troubleshooting experience is highly preferred
- Technical school diploma with at least 1 year of maintenance experience or high school diploma/GED with approximately 5 years of maintenance experience
- Ability to work independently and troubleshoot equipment with limited supervision
Schedule
- 2nd Shift: 3:00 PM–11:00 PM — 3 openings
- 3rd Shift: 11:00 PM–7:00 AM — 2 openings
Maintenance technicians are currently averaging approximately 50–60 hours per week and working most weekends due to production demand. As operations stabilize, the schedule is expected to return closer to 40–50 hours per week with approximately a couple of weekends per month.
Work Environment
This is a heavy manufacturing environment involving exposure to noise, heat, cold, dirt, grease, smoke, dust, and molten metal. The position requires standing and walking for extended periods, working in various positions throughout the facility, and occasionally lifting up to 70 pounds.
