Job Description

Function:

Under general supervision of the Operation Manager and the Shop Forman, be able to demonstrate extreme proficiency as a maintenance personnel. Be able to perform various procedures and functions in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with maintenance training without instruction

General Duties and Qualifications:

● Maintain proficiencies maintaining the efficient processing of maintenance projects.

● Have thorough knowledge of all maintenance standard operations.

● Demonstrate ability to recognize non-conformance conditions follow non-conformance procedures and report them to his supervisor.

● Demonstrate ability to recognize unsafe conditions, correct them accordingly if appropriate, and report them to supervisor.

● Have knowledge of Hazardous and non-hazardous compounds, understanding their characteristics and effects in reference to maintenance.

● Demonstrate ability to make recommendations for process improvement and equipment maintenance.

● Monitor and maintain processes to ensure consist effectiveness of the maintenance department.

● Note any inconsistencies or errors in maintenance projects, and report to supervisor.

● Accurately complete all required information on check sheets, and maintain any other necessary reports as required.

●Working with the supervisor, assist to ensure the efficient implementation of new processes and procedures.

● Plan daily work schedule accordingly to ensure efficient project completion.

● Meet all required maintenance standards.

● Work with supervisor to improve efficiencies in maintenance projects.

● Assist the supervisor with "hands-on" Training of new employees learning to become a maintenance personnel.

● Monitor individual supplies usage in shop to assist in controlling operating costs (equipment repair parts, auxiliary supplies such as gloves, towels, etc.)

● Maintain required personal protective equipment in clean and working order.

● Wear required personal protective equipment as required.

● Report emergency equipment repairs to the Shop Foreman immediately.

● Follow Maintenance Repair Fulfillment procedure for any required equipment and/or general maintenance.

● Work with Shop Foreman and Operations Manager, to assist in maintaining equipment in accordance with the Preventative Maintenance Program.

● Inform supervisor of any problems encountered.

● Follow all Company Safety Policies and procedures.

● Maintain a clean, safe and orderly work area.

● Perform any related duties as required.
