Maintenance Technician – Industrial Manufacturing
12-hour rotating shift schedule (2-2-3 rotation, 6:45 PM – 7:00 AM), including weekend and overnight coverage in a 24/7 manufacturing facility.
- Performed preventive and corrective maintenance on industrial production and processing equipment to reduce downtime and maintain operational efficiency.
- Troubleshot and repaired mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and PLC-controlled systems in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Installed, dismantled, repaired, and rebuilt machinery and mechanical equipment as needed.
- Utilized CMMS software to complete work orders, track maintenance history, monitor inventory usage, and document repairs.
- Assisted with developing and executing preventive maintenance programs to improve equipment reliability and production uptime.
- Diagnosed equipment failures by observing machine operation, inspecting components, and using precision measuring instruments.
- Read and interpreted blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to complete repairs and equipment modifications.
- Supported a 24/7 production facility by responding to emergency breakdowns and troubleshooting process-related issues.
- Worked with Allen-Bradley, Siemens, and other PLC systems for diagnostics and troubleshooting support.
- Maintained inventory levels of maintenance parts and supplies while coordinating replacement needs.
- Trained operators on routine preventive maintenance procedures and safe equipment operation practices.
- Maintained compliance with all safety standards, GMP practices, and company policies while promoting a clean and organized work environment.
