Maintenance Technician – Food Manufacturing (Cold Storage Environment)

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dependable Maintenance Technician to support operations in a food manufacturing facility operating in a refrigerated environment. This role is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing production equipment and facility systems to ensure safety, efficiency, and minimal downtime.

Work Environment

• Cold storage / refrigerated production facility

• Fast-paced food manufacturing setting

• Strict food safety and sanitation standards

Required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

• Hairnet

• Gloves

• Non-slip shoes

• Additional PPE as required by safety policies

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on production and refrigeration equipment

• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems

• Troubleshoot equipment breakdowns to minimize downtime

• Maintain maintenance logs and documentation

• Follow all food safety, GMP, and safety procedures

• Support continuous improvement initiatives

Qualifications

• Previous maintenance experience in food manufacturing preferred

• Experience working in cold or refrigerated environments a plus

• Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills

• Ability to work safely in a temperature-controlled setting

• Strong attention to safety and sanitation standards
