Job Overview:

Maintenance Technician

You must have **Injection Molding **experience.

  • Location: Palatine, IL
  • Pay: $32 - $36 p/h
  • 1st shift - 7am - 3pm

We’re seeking an experienced **Maintenance Technician **with strong knowledge of **injection molding **equipment and systems. You’ll be responsible forinstalling, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaininginjection molding machines and related auxiliary equipment to keep production running 24/7.

Duties and responsibilities as an Maintenance Technician;

  • Troubleshoot and repair injection molding presses, screws, barrels, pumps, and motors
  • Service auxiliary equipment: robots, conveyors, chillers, thermolators, and grinders
  • Perform preventative maintenance and update PM checklists
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and PLCs
  • Assist cross-functional teams with machine operation and maintenance support
  • Maintain parts inventory and ensure equipment safety and compliance
  • Perform welding, soldering, and general mechanical repairs

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting
  • Deep knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
  • Comfortable with 24VDC to 480VAC 3-phase electrical systems
  • Skilled with hand tools, welders, lathes, and overhead cranes
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving ability
  • High school diploma or GED required
