Position: Industrial Maintenance Technician

Pay Rate: $25.00 per hour

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our team in Ocala, FL. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring our manufacturing and industrial machinery runs smoothly, safely, and efficiently. The ideal candidate has strong troubleshooting skills, deep expertise in mechanical and electrical systems, and specific technical experience repairing Hyd-Mech band saws.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventative maintenance and emergency technical repairs on industrial manufacturing equipment.

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.

• Specifically maintain and repair Hyd-Mech H20 and M16-22A Bundle cutting band saws.

• Read and interpret blueprints, technical schematics, and equipment manuals to execute precise repairs.

• Safely utilize a variety of hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic testing equipment.

• Manage multiple maintenance priorities independently with minimal supervision.

• Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or vocational training is highly preferred.

• Experience: Minimum of 5–7 years of maintenance experience strictly within a manufacturing or industrial environment.

• Equipment Specialization: Must have direct technical repair experience on Hyd-Mech H20 and M16-22A Bundle cutting band saws.

• Technical Skills: Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems; ability to read schematics and blueprints.

• Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical labor as needed.

• Flexibility: Willingness to work overtime or weekends as production needs require.

• Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving skills, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.
