Machine Maintainence Technician

**Hours: **3pm-11pm OR 11pm-7am (Flexible) OT as needed

Pay Rate: $25+ per hour BOE

Location: Northbrook, IL

Are you looking to work in a family-oriented team in the Northbrook area? Express is looking to hire a Machine Maintenance Technician to help maintain quality in production by doing preventative maintenance on machines in the facility. This location believes in giving everyone a helping hand, working closely with one another, and doing team-building activities inside and outside work.

Machine Maintenance Technician Responsibilities:

• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on facility equipment, machinery, and building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, etc.).
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, electrical, or structural issues in a timely manner.
• Conduct regular facility inspections to identify maintenance needs and potential safety hazards.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency situations.
• Maintain accurate documentation, including maintenance logs, work orders, and service records.
• Assist with the installation, assembly, and modification of equipment and systems.
• Coordinate and collaborate with outside contractors and vendors when required.
• Follow all safety procedures, company policies, and regulatory guidelines.
• Ensure tools, parts, and equipment are properly organized, maintained, and in good working condition

What we look for in a Machine Maintenance Technician:

• 3 years of Machinery Maintenance experience

• Experienced in repairing Electric Furnaces, Assembly Machines, Compressors, Shakers, Etc.

• Experience using powered equipment and tools

• Basic computer skills
