Job Description

New Company in Montgomery, IL is seeking a Maintence Technician to join their team!

Position is for 2nd shift but must train on 1st shift.

1st shift training schedule: M-F 7:00am-3:30pm

2nd shift schedule: M-F 4:00pm-12:30am

Essential Job Functions:

• Maintains a safe and sanitary environment for visitors and staff

• Completes, coordinates, or supervises repairs and preventive maintenance tasks

• Responsible for interaction and coordination of facility contractors

• Ensures all work is completed in a safe, prompt, and professional manner

• Conducts daily building / property inspections and takes action to address issues

• Responsible for control of building keys

• Responsible for building pest control program

• Maintains inventory of equipment, tools, and supplies

• Maintains appropriate records and prepares reports as needed

• Provides guidance and training as needed

• Completes required training classes

• All other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned

**Qualifications:

**

• High school diploma with a minimum of three years of related work experience. Technical degree preferred.

• Proficient in decision making and problem solving

• Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills

• Demonstrate a basic understanding and knowledge of general maintenance, carpentry, painting, refurbishing, plumbing, electricity, appliances and HVAC in both theory and practical application

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

• Demonstrates work safety regulations

• Ability to work on-call and extended hours if needed
