  • Perform routine inspections and document maintenance activities in a CMMS or equivalent tracking system
  • Maintain compliance with GMP, food safety, and sanitation standards at all times
  • Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns during production to reduce downtime and product loss
  • Collaborate with production, quality, and engineering teams to support continuous improvement initiatives
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in accordance with plant safety policies
  • Assist with equipment installations, upgrades, and changeovers as needed

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of industrial maintenance experience, preferably in food/beverage manufacturing or another GMP-regulated environment
  • Hands-on experience with conveyors and automated packaging/canning equipment
  • Working knowledge of Allen Bradley PLC systems (troubleshooting required; programming experience a plus)
  • Experience with photo eye and camera-based sensor systems
  • Experience troubleshooting Servo drives and VFDs
  • Strong understanding of electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
  • Ability to read electrical schematics and technical drawings
  • Ability to work independently overnight with minimal supervision
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to perform under time pressure during downtime events
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical/trade school certification preferred

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and climb for extended periods
  • Ability to work in a food production environment (varying temperatures, wet/dry conditions, noise levels)
  • Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces as needed, with proper safety equipment

What We Offer

  • Competitive pay: $30.00–$35.00/hour based on experience
  • Shift differential for 3rd shift (if applicable)
