Job Details
- Position Type: Full-Time, Hourly (Non-Exempt)
- Pay Range: $23–$26 per hour (based on skills and experience)
- Work Location: Onsite – Mundelein, IL 60060
- Shift: (7:00 AM – 3:30 PM)
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on facility and production-support systems.
- Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues in motors, pumps, drives, and control panels.
- Inspect, maintain, and repair lighting, power outlets, and conduit runs.
- Read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and maintenance instructions.
- Document maintenance activities, parts used, and labor hours in the CMMS system.
- Support facility upkeep, including industrial cleaning equipment operation and supply stocking.
- Partner with vendors and the Facilities Lead on installations, upgrades, and major repairs.
- Maintain compliance with OSHA, environmental, and 5S housekeeping standards.
- Participate in safety and continuous improvement initiatives across the facility.

Qualifications (Required)
- 1+ year of experience in industrial maintenance, facilities repair, or related mechanical/electrical trade (including co-op or military service)
- Proven skill in troubleshooting motors, pumps, and control circuits
- Proficiency with hand and power tools, multimeters, and diagnostic instruments
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings
- Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs, stand or walk for extended periods, and work at heights (with or without reasonable accommodation)
- Basic computer skills for CMMS entry and email communication
- Valid driver’s license and ability to earn forklift and aerial-lift certification
Qualifications (Preferred)
Experience with CMMS software
Trade-school coursework or certification in electrical, mechanical, or HVAC fields
Experience with air compressor systems, parts washers, or chip-handling systems.
Familiarity with OSHA, 5S, and environmental compliance requirements
Bilingual (English/Spanish) for effective communication and safety awareness
