Job Overview:

**Maintenance Technician **

📍 Location: Mountain Top, PA

🕒 Schedule: Weekend Shift (Friday–Sunday), OR rotating 2nd shift OR rotating 3rd shift

Do you thrive in a hands-on environment, enjoy large-scale mechanical projects, and want to be a key player in keeping essential manufacturing equipment running at its best? If so, we have an opportunity for you.

We're looking for a Maintenance Technician to join our team and take charge of preventive maintenance and project-based repairs. This is your chance to work on full-scale rebuilds, mechanical upgrades, and critical equipment improvements without the interruptions of a live production line.

🔍 What You’ll Be Doing

  • Perform preventive maintenance and large-scale equipment rebuilds (not on-the-line troubleshooting)

  • Tear down and rebuild hydraulic presses, conveyors, furnaces, extruders, gearboxes, and more

  • Use your electrical know-how (40% of the role) to read schematics, wire motors, and troubleshoot with a multimeter

  • Work independently and collaboratively on a team of 5–6 technicians—no direct supervisor on weekends

  • Embrace union membership and contribute positively to a collaborative environment

✅ What We’re Looking For

Must-Have Experience:

  • 2–5+ years in industrial maintenance (or strong military equivalent)

  • Solid mechanical skills in PM and rebuilds (not just live troubleshooting)

  • Comfortable working with hydraulics, pneumatics, bearings, chains, lubrication systems, and more

  • Electrical aptitude: able to read electrical schematics, wire motors, and use a multimeter confidently

  • Team-first mindset: ability to lead, listen, and problem-solve in a collaborative, self-directed environment

  • Willingness to work in a union environment

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with PLC troubleshooting and modifications

  • Associate’s degree in a technical or mechanical field (but strong experience is more important!)

  • Track record of following safety protocols—safety is non-negotiable in our facility

đź’Ş Why Join Us?

  • Work on impactful projects during scheduled downtime

  • Opportunity to grow technically in both mechanical and electrical areas

  • Collaborative weekend crew environment with autonomy

  • Union benefits and strong workplace safety culture

Ready to put your mechanical and electrical skills to work in a high-impact, team-driven environment?

Apply now to join a company that values technical expertise, hands-on work, and strong teamwork—especially when no one’s looking over your shoulder.
