Job Description

SCOPE OF POSITION  

This individual works as an intern with the management team and other departments in aspects of safety, maintenance, and any other duties that are required. Assist in ensuring HACCP, GMP’s, Work Instructions, and food safety requirements are in compliance.   

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES  

Functional Responsibilities include but are NOT limited to:  

· Effectively work with other associates in the department to promote team spirit.  

· Demonstrate pride in workmanship and pay attention to detail.  

· Learn to design and build new equipment.  

· Shows willingness to improve all aspects of machinery operations (redesign, modifications).   

· Learn to troubleshoot and repair variable speed motors, programmable controllers, 3 phase voltages, DC voltages.  

· Conduct preventive maintenance checks and services on industrial equipment with other maintenance personnel.  

· Disassemble and reassemble machines as directed by maintenance personnel.  

· Pipe fitting/plumbing, general labor (to include janitorial if required), lubrication of all plant equipment.  

· Perform other job related duties as assigned by Supervisor.  

QUALIFICATIONS 

Education & Experience   

• High School diploma or G.E.D. minimum
• Two (2) years experience working on industrial machines.
