Job Overview:

Industrial Maintenance Technician

Location: Minneapolis, MN

Pay: $37–$40/hour + $1 premium for nights

Shifts Available: 2nd shift (Monday-Friday) & 3rd shift (Sunday-Thursday)

Position Overview:

We are hiring experienced Industrial Maintenance Technicians to join the team of a leading manufacturer in the Minneapolis, MN area. This is a great opportunity to work with a stable company offering excellent benefits, career growth opportunities, and a supportive work environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform mechanical and electrical repairs on a wide range of production machinery and equipment.

  • Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems.

  • Diagnose and repair issues related to 460V wiring systems.

  • Perform preventative and predictive maintenance to ensure equipment reliability and efficiency.

  • Work with Allen Bradley PLCs for troubleshooting and minor programming adjustments.

  • Maintain, install, and troubleshoot Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs).

  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.

  • Safely utilize hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments.

  • Ensure maintenance documentation and work orders are completed accurately and in a timely manner.

  • Collaborate with production teams and management to minimize downtime and improve equipment performance.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a large manufacturing plant environment.

  • Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.

  • Hands-on experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, PLCs (Allen Bradley preferred), VFDs, and 460V wiring.

  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints.

  • Diploma or certification in Industrial Maintenance, Mechatronics, Electrical Technology, or a related field preferred.

  • Strong commitment to safety and maintaining a clean, organized work area.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
