Job Description

Aegis is seeking a maintenance technician to join our client's organization in Milwaukee, WI. The ideal candidate has the following skills and experience:

Must have:

• High school or GED.

• 2+ years of experience in a maintenance position

• Manufacturing experience – heavier or similar industry would be ideal.

• Experience with equipment repair

• Experience fixing electromechanical systems including switches and sensors.

• Experience with interpreting wiring diagrams to assist in equipment breakdowns.

• Overall mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electric systems experience.

• Experience with blueprints and work instructions – able to read and comprehend complex instructions, and internal communications from managers.

• Experience with maintenance planning and preventative maintenance – working in a CMMS system.

• Functional knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word, or equivalent

• Email proficiency and able to keep track/document issues/resolutions.

Nice to have:

• Associates degree in Industrial maintenance studies.
• PLC/automation exposure or experience in previous roles.
• Coursework toward Journeyman maintenance mechanic technology
