What You'll Do

  • Operate, set up, adjust, maintain, and troubleshoot high-speed coater lines
  • Perform equipment changeovers, repairs, maintenance, and wash-ups
  • Diagnose mechanical and quality issues and restore equipment to service quickly
  • Conduct and document quality checks and measurements
  • Work closely with quality inspectors to ensure product standards are met
  • Respond immediately to quality concerns and production issues
  • Use precision measuring instruments to maintain close tolerances up to .0010"
  • Maintain production, quality, efficiency, and maintenance records
  • Support continuous improvement efforts related to safety, quality, cost, and productivity
  • Assist in training and mentoring team members
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area using 5S principles
  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent

  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills

  • Ability to pass a mechanical skills assessment

  • Experience using:- Hand and power tools

    • Micrometers
    • Dial indicators
    • Vernier calipers
    • Precision measuring instruments and gauges
  • Ability to read and interpret:- Blueprints

    • Technical drawings
    • Equipment manuals
    • Specifications
    • Technical documentation
  • Ability to provide standard hand tools required for the job

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to work 12-hour shifts
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
