What You'll Do
- Operate, set up, adjust, maintain, and troubleshoot high-speed coater lines
- Perform equipment changeovers, repairs, maintenance, and wash-ups
- Diagnose mechanical and quality issues and restore equipment to service quickly
- Conduct and document quality checks and measurements
- Work closely with quality inspectors to ensure product standards are met
- Respond immediately to quality concerns and production issues
- Use precision measuring instruments to maintain close tolerances up to .0010"
- Maintain production, quality, efficiency, and maintenance records
- Support continuous improvement efforts related to safety, quality, cost, and productivity
- Assist in training and mentoring team members
- Maintain a clean and organized work area using 5S principles
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
Ability to pass a mechanical skills assessment
Experience using:- Hand and power tools
- Micrometers
- Dial indicators
- Vernier calipers
- Precision measuring instruments and gauges
Ability to read and interpret:- Blueprints
- Technical drawings
- Equipment manuals
- Specifications
- Technical documentation
Ability to provide standard hand tools required for the job
Physical Requirements
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
