Available Shift:
- 6:30am-3:30pm (Monday-Friday) for training
- 7am-7pm or 7pm-7am after training (2-2-3 schedule)

Essential Duties And Responsibilities:
Repairs and maintains machinery and mechanical equipment such as engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines and equipment by performing the following duties.Able to use work order system.
Adjusts functional parts of devices and control instruments.
Dismantles devices to gain access to and remove defective parts.
Examines form and texture of parts to detect imperfections.
Identify and understand correct hand tool use
Observes mechanical devices in operation and listens to their sounds to locate causes of trouble.
Repairs or replaces defective parts.
Starts devices to test their performance.
Troubleshoot and repair basic mechanical drive systems
Basic knowledge of electric motor type
Basic Understanding and use of a multimeter
Read basic wiring diagrams, including understanding wire numbering /coding, and symbols used
Repairs electrical equipment.
Troubleshoot and repair basic electrical circuits.
Lubricates and cleans parts.
Perform basic plumbing.
Troubleshoot and repair basic hydraulic and pneumatic circuits, including full understanding of line numbering and symbology used on prints
Sets up and operates, drill press, grinder, and other metalworking tools to make and repair parts.
Understand fastener markings for strength in ISO and English format
Understand Metric and English description for fasteners, volumes, torque, force, etc.
Complete LOTO training.
Performs general PM’s.
Qualifications:
- Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school or equivalent on the job training.
- Six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Advanced arithmetic skills

- This position requires the ability to be able to stand and walk for more then 2/3 of the time, the ability to talk and hear, climb and balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, and reach with hand and arms for up to 2/3 of the time, the ability to use hands, handle or feel, and taste or smell for up to 1/3 of the time.
- This position requires the ability to be able to lift up to 25 pounds more then 2/3 of the time and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds up to 2/3 of the time.
- This position requires regular and reliable attendance and punctuality.
- This position requires PPE to be worn based on the task being performed.
- This position requires the ability to work near moving mechanical parts for up to 1/3 of the time.
- This position requires the ability to work in loud noise level areas (examples: metal can manufacturing, department, large earth-moving equipment).
- This position requires the ability to work in high, precarious places and around fumes or airborne particles for up to 1/3 of the time.
This position requires the following vision abilities:
- - Close Vision (clear vision at 20 inches or less)
- Distance Vision (clear vision at 20 feet or more)
- Color Vision (ability to identify and distinguish colors)
- Peripheral Vision (ability to observe an area that can be seen up and down or to the left and right while eyes are fixed on a given point)

- Ability to Adjust Focus (ability to adjust the eye to bring an object into sharp focus)
WORKING CONDITIONS AND ENVIRONMENT:
This position requires frequent exposure to plant environment including extreme temperatures and high noise levels.
