Job Overview:
Responsibilities
- Perform preventative, corrective, and emergency maintenance on plant machinery and equipment.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, CNC, automation, and robotic systems.
- Read and interpret electrical and pneumatic schematics to identify and resolve equipment issues.
- Utilize PLC systems and interfaces to diagnose and troubleshoot equipment problems.
- Support equipment repairs, rebuilds, and continuous improvement efforts across the facility.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
- Follow company safety, quality, and maintenance procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Technical school diploma in a related field with at least 1 year of maintenance experience, or a high school diploma with at least 5 years of maintenance experience.
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills, with experience in hydraulic, pneumatic, PLC, CNC, automation, and/or robotics systems.
- Knowledge of Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) and preventative maintenance practices.
- Ability to work independently and provide guidance or supervision to small teams as needed.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a heavy manufacturing environment and perform the physical requirements of the position, including standing, walking, bending, and occasional lifting of up to 70 pounds.
