Responsibilities
- Perform repair and maintenance on plant equipment, machinery, and building systems
- Troubleshoot and repair presses, conveyors, CNC equipment, assembly machinery, and automated systems
- Support production and maintenance team goals across multiple departments
- Assist with equipment set-ups and continuous improvement initiatives
- Follow all safety procedures, including Lockout/Tagout and electrical safe work practices
- Complete preventive maintenance tasks, corrective repairs, and equipment improvements
- Accurately complete maintenance documentation, downtime tracking, and work orders
- Operate forklifts and aerial lifts as needed
- Participate in lean manufacturing and waste reduction initiatives
- Support overall plant operations and additional maintenance projects as assigned
Qualifications
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, lubrication, and mechanical systems
- Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams and schematics
- Experience with MIG and/or arc welding and cutting torches
- Experience troubleshooting industrial manufacturing equipment
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Knowledge of manufacturing quality and environmental standards preferred
- Some PLC troubleshooting experience preferred
Education
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Technical or vocational training preferred
Experience
- Minimum of 5 years of industrial or plant maintenance experience preferred
