Job Description

A prominent Aerospace & Automotive company in Macomb County, MI is seeking a well-rounded and experienced Maintenance Technician to support the upkeep and reliability of our production equipment and facility. This role requires hands-on experience with hydraulic and mechanical presses, CNC machinery, and electrical systems. Experience with robotics and laser equipment is a strong plus.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on equipment and facility systems

• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues

• Repair and maintain hydraulic and mechanical presses

• Work with electrical systems ranging from 120V to 480V

• Maintain, service, and troubleshoot CNC mills

• Respond quickly and effectively to maintenance requests

• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance work performed

• Assist in the setup and maintenance of robotic and laser systems (preferred)

Qualifications & Skills:

• Proven experience in a maintenance technician or related role

• Strong working knowledge of hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical systems

• Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment

• Experience with CNC machines, 120–480V electrical systems, and industrial controls

• Familiarity with robotic systems and laser machinery is a plus

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

• Physically able to perform maintenance tasks, including lifting and standing for long periods
