Maintenance Technician

1st Shift | Monday - Thursday

$30.00 - $38.00/hr DOE

Packaging Manufacturing

We're recruiting for an experienced Maintenance Technician to join an established contract packaging manufacturer in Louisville, KY.

This is a hands-on multi-craft maintenance role supporting production and packaging equipment. We're looking for someone strong mechanically and electrically who can troubleshoot equipment independently and help improve equipment reliability.

What You'll Do

• Troubleshoot and repair production and packaging equipment
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical equipment faults
• Work with motors, gearboxes, fillers, bottling equipment and cartoners
• Troubleshoot 240V, 480V and 3-phase electrical systems
• Assist with PLC-related troubleshooting
• Complete preventative and corrective maintenance
• Support equipment installations and upgrades
• Perform general facility maintenance when required
• Help improve preventative maintenance practices and maintenance standards

What We're Looking For

• Industrial maintenance experience within manufacturing
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills
• Electrical troubleshooting experience
• Experience working with 3-phase electrical equipment
• Ability to troubleshoot equipment independently
• PLC troubleshooting experience is highly desirable
• Filling, bottling or packaging equipment experience is highly desirable
• Packaging, food, beverage or GMP manufacturing experience is advantageous

Schedule

• Monday - Thursday
• Approximately 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM
• Four-day workweek
• A delayed 1st shift schedule may be considered for the right candidate
