What You'll Do

  • Troubleshoot and repair plant facilities and production equipment — electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic
  • Support and improve preventive maintenance programs for equipment and facilities
  • Maintain equipment records, schematics, blueprints, and files
  • Perform robot programming and weld touch-ups daily
  • Troubleshoot RSW equipment, boards, alarms, and weld controllers
  • Replace, troubleshoot, and swap sealer units and welding power supplies
  • Work with Ethernet/DeviceNet networking, I/O blocks, and Cosma Robot/PLC standards
  • Maintain department repair parts stock and inventory
  • Perform inspections and verify records meet code and customer requirements
  • Complete reports and documentation using Microsoft Word, Excel, and other software
  • Communicate with maintenance leaders and other departments on maintenance and quality issues
  • Work with vendors/contractors and support continuous improvement initiatives
  • Follow all OSHA, NEC, and safety standards; maintain a clean, organized work area

What You Bring

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems
  • Experience with sensors, PLCs, and basic robot programming/teaching
  • Familiarity with RSW, GMAW, DAR, and projection welding processes
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical procedures
  • Computer proficiency (Microsoft Word, Excel, etc.)
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision
  • Ability to obtain and hold a forklift license and a boom/scissor lift license
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, overtime, and rotating shifts as needed

Physical & Work Environment

  • Able to lift up to 40 lbs. unassisted; comfortable bending, standing, climbing, and walking
  • Able to safely use manual tools and power equipment common in the construction trades
  • Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces
  • Exposure to varying temperature and noise levels on the plant floor
