WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU:
- Troubleshooting electrical and mechanical malfunctions, identifying root causes, and performing necessary repairs to restore system functionality
- Install, repair, upgrade, and maintain various types of electrical systems, including: 480V three phase power distribution, 480V three phase motors, variable frequency drives, 24V controls, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), and safety circuits
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance.
- Implementing improvements to electrical systems, including upgrades to equipment, wiring, or control systems to enhance efficiency and reliability.
- Responding promptly to electrical emergencies like equipment failures and power outages to minimize disruption and ensure safety.
- Read electrical schematics and design layouts for electrical systems and components.
- Retrofit obsolete parts and equipment.
- Solve repeat issues with long term sustainable solutions.
- Making updates needed on schematics and drawings.
- Providing input towards the writing and organization of procedures and manuals for routine production and Maintenance tasks.
- Identifying project opportunities and reporting them to management.
- Managing projects under the guidance of Project Engineers.
- Defining equipment specifications and participating in FAT & SAT to verify performance.
- Working in collaboration with contractors/vendors to complete work.
- Model, implement, and comply with electrical safety rules and related industry regulations including NEC, OSHA, NFPA, Product Safety Guidelines.
- Identify Critical Spare Parts & Preventative Maintenance Schedule with Maintenance Leadership.
OUR SAFETY REQUIREMENTS:
- Ensure that safety and health concerns are given primary consideration in all activities
- Follows company guidelines and actively participates in all safety processes
- Carry out job/area specific housekeeping duties and maintain a high standard of professionalism
- Look for, report, and correct any near misses/unsafe conditions or behaviors as soon as possible
- Produce quality materials to be distributed to customers
- Maintain production volume and efficiency
- Identify needed changes and make recommendations - find a better way
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues, requesting supervisor assistance when needed
Schedule:
- B Shift: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, every other Saturday: 5:00pm-5:00am
Compensation
- Pay ranges based on experience, $30.00/hr+
OUR BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- Degree/Certification in electrical engineering or related field preferred, however, equivalent work experience will be considered.
- Strong understanding of electrical theory, power systems, motor controls, circuit analysis, and electrical safety protocols.
- Experience with computer aided drafting software preferred
- Strong trouble shooting, problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong Leadership capabilities and effective team communication.
- Strong personal & work ethics.
- Strong ability to deal effectively with company personnel on levels.
Physical Work and Work Environment:

- While performing the duties of this job, the team member is regularly required to stand most of their 12-hour shift on a cement production floor. The team member frequently is required to use arms to reach and hands to handle or feel. The team member must repetitively lift and/or move up to 65 pounds. Must be able to routinely climb stairs and work safely around numerous hot surfaces and rotating equipment.
- Team members are also required to frequently talk and hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Team members in this role are exposed to seasonal temperature/humidity changes that can be near 100 degrees Fahrenheit.
