Description:
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing highly diversified duties from installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining production/facility equipment according to safety, preventative maintenance systems, and processes.
Requirements
- Responsible for troubleshooting, mechanical repair, and non-routine maintenance of all plant equipment, machinery, and facility
- Have experience, or willing to be trained to provide technical knowledge and expertise to solve problems of a mechanical, electrical, or hydraulic/pneumatic nature.
- Knowledge of 3-phase 480V & 240V; Single phase 240V, 277V &120V; Low voltage DC 24V & 12 V beneficial. Capable of converting 3-phase 480V to single phase 240V would be a plus
- Performs preventative maintenance according to the Preventative Maintenance (PM) schedule.
- Ensures that all equipment, facilities, and utilities are in an acceptable state
- Reads and understands electrical and mechanical schematics.
- Capable of Arc, Wire and Tig welding is a plus
- Fabricating guarding of machines as needed.
- Install and adjust a wide variety of components including, but not limited to:
- circuit boards, photo electric switches, fiber optics, proximity switches, PLC’s, mechanical switches, clutches, shafts, and bearings
- Experience with electronic/electrical and machine programming software a plus:
- i.e., Allen-Bradley, circuit boards
- Plumbing experience, i.e., pipe for airlines and/or water, pipe threading
- Machine capabilities preferred (lathes, drill presses, and mill)
- Maintains air compressor and heating/cooling equipment
- Operate a forklift as required
- Forklift maintenance a plus
- Responsible for working in accordance with our documented Quality System
- Maintains a clean and orderly work area, and follows all safety policies and procedures
- May be required by Management to perform other reasonable work-related tasks
- May be required to work different shifts, hours, or overtime as well as weekends if needed
Minimum Requirements:
- High School diploma/GED or equivalent
- Manufacturing Degree and/or 3 years related work experience to include specialized training, to troubleshoot equipment and provide technical knowledge and expertise, to solve problems of a mechanical, electrical, or hydraulic/pneumatic nature.
- Must be able to lift a min of 50 lbs
- Monday - Friday 7:00am-3:30pm
