One of our manufacturing clients in the Hendersonville, TN area is currently in need of a Maintenance Technician to join their team.
The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of hands-on industrial maintenance experience with strong mechanical troubleshooting abilities and a solid understanding of manufacturing equipment and systems. Candidates should be comfortable working independently, responding to equipment breakdowns, and performing preventative maintenance to ensure maximum production uptime.
Responsibilities:
- Perform mechanical and electrical troubleshooting on industrial production equipment
- Diagnose and repair issues involving pneumatics, servo systems, motors, conveyors, and automated machinery
- Work with HMIs (Human Machine Interfaces) to troubleshoot equipment faults and production issues
- Complete preventative maintenance (PMs) and routine inspections on machinery and facility equipment
- Respond quickly to production downtime and equipment failures
- Read and interpret mechanical drawings, schematics, and technical manuals
- Assist with equipment installations, upgrades, and continuous improvement projects
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment while following company safety procedures
- Collaborate with operations and engineering teams to improve equipment performance and reliability
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing or production environment
- Strong mechanical maintenance background required
- Ability to troubleshoot mechanical and basic electrical systems
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Technical schooling or maintenance certifications are a plus
