Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to support out flooring trims manufacturing operations. This role is crucial to minimizing downtime and ensuring all prodcution equipment-including high speed wrapping lines, molding, forming lines, cutting machines, shrink wrapping equipment, and material handling systems-run safety and efficiently.
Key Responsiblilites
- Conduct preventive and corrective mainenance on machinery used in the manufacturing of flooring trims.
- Diagnoses and troubleshoot issues with mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
- Assist in the installation and commisioning of new machines and upgrades.
- Maintain all work order records and preventative maintenance schedules within CMMS.
- Collaborate with productions and quality teams to identify recurring equipment issues and implement logn-term solutiojs.
- Support compliance with safety regulatons and internal policies, including Lockout/Tagout, PPE usage, and equipment guarding.
- Perform routine inspections to identify and report equipment wear, potential failures, or unsafe conditions.
- Help ensure the plant meets manufacturing KPIs and other performance metrics.
- Exection of 5S within plant maintenace and other work areas.
Qualifications
- 7 + years of experience in industrial or manufacturing maintenance (experience in flooring trims or similar industry would be a plus)
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical, and PLC troubleshooting.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
- Proficient using tools, diagnostic devices, and CMMS (computerized maintenance management systems).
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including overtime and weekends, if necessary.
- Technical diplomas or associate degree in industrial maintenances, mechatronics, or a related field preferred.
