Maintenance Technician

1st SHIFT/$29-$31.50/hr/Full-Time

Overview:

Aegis Worldwide is curently partnered with a manufacturer and supplier of recycled container in the corrugated box industry.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair large-scale production equipment in a heavy industrial manufacturing environment, including mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.

• Perform emergency repairs and scheduled preventive maintenance to maximize uptime of continuous-process machinery and large, integrated systems.

• Troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical issues by reading and interpreting schematics and technical documentation for large-scale equipment.

• Utilize hand and power tools, meters, and material handling equipment to safely service motors, pumps, valves, piping systems, bearings, and gear-driven equipment.

• Support special projects and adapt to changing production demands, including on-call rotations and fluctuating work pace.

Requirements

• 2+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a heavy industrial manufacturing environment (e.g., mill, forge, foundry, large-scale processing equipment); CNC or small machine environments not preferred.

• Strong mechanical aptitude with hands-on experience in hydraulics, pneumatics, gears, bearings, pumps, valves, piping systems, and manual industrial equipment.

• Experience working with 3-phase 480V systems, including both AC and DC motors.

• Ability to read, understand, and interpret schematics for large-scale industrial machinery.

• Self-starter with strong problem-solving skills; must be comfortable working in non-climate-controlled environments, rotating on-call schedules, and variable production tempos.
