Maintenance Technician

• Harrisonburg, VA
• 1st, 2nd and 3rd Shift available
• Food Production Company
• $30 - $40 /hour
• Overtime Available 1.5x Rate over 40 hours

We are working with an established food processing company based in **Harrisonburg, VA. **They are recruiting for multiple **Maintenance Technician **to join their team during their 1st, 2nd and 3rd shifts in return for a salary in the region of **$30 - $40 /hour **along with excellent employment benefits which include 401K, Healthcare, Vision and Dental, PTO and Life Assurance.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Maintaining mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems
• PLC troubleshooting
• Stripping down mechanical parts and replacing belts, motors, gearboxes, bearings
• Interpreting blueprints and schematics
• Troubleshoot and replace AC/DC motors 24v - 480v
• Maintain, troubleshoot and repair food processing equipment and machinery including, **Reiser (plastic formers), OSSID (heat shrink sealers), Ravenwood, metal detectors, Ishida scales, Pacmac/marination, stretch wrappers, spiral coolers, meat sorters, vacuum sealers, label applicators, coders, conveyors, box makers, box sealers.

Qualifications & Experience required:

• At least 3 years of experience working in a manufacturing environment preferably within food production or processing
• Maintenance expertise in mechanical functions of the equipment
• Familiarity with machine configuration, rebuilding, stripping, and preventative maintenance
• Programmable Logic Controls (PLC) electrical troubleshooting knowledge
