Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. This position is responsible for maintaining the overall condition, safety, and functionality of residential units and community grounds. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in general maintenance, strong problem-solving skills, and a commitment to excellent service.

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs in occupied and vacant units

• Complete work orders in a timely and efficient manner

• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliances

• Prepare units for new residents (turnovers/make-readies)

• Conduct preventative maintenance on equipment and systems

• Maintain grounds, common areas, and overall property appearance

• Respond to emergency maintenance requests as needed

• Ensure all work is completed in compliance with safety standards

• Communicate effectively with management and residents

Requirements:

• Previous maintenance or related experience preferred

• Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general repairs

• EPA Certification (preferred but not required)

• Ability to use hand and power tools safely

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening

Preferred Qualifications:

• HVAC certification or CPO certification

• Experience with maintenance tracking systems

• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
