Job Overview

We are looking for a skilled Maintenance Technician to keep production equipment running smoothly in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. You will troubleshoot, repair, and maintain mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems to support uptime, food safety, and productivity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and repair production and packaging equipment including conveyors, mixers, ovens, and fillers

  • Perform mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic maintenance

  • Execute preventive maintenance and predictive maintenance programs

  • Respond to equipment breakdowns to minimize downtime

  • Assist with installation and start-up of new equipment

  • Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and manuals

  • Maintain accurate maintenance records in CMMS

  • Follow food safety (GMP), OSHA, and company safety standards

Skills & Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED (technical degree/apprenticeship preferred)

  • 3+ years maintenance experience in manufacturing; food manufacturing experience preferred

  • Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills

  • Experience with PLC-controlled equipment preferred

  • Ability to read mechanical drawings and electrical schematics

  • Able to work independently and in a team environment

  • Comfortable working in regulated, GMP-compliant environments

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs
