Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Technician with hands-on experience working on industrial manufacturing equipment to join our clients manufacturing maintenance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on a wide range of machinery and systems to ensure maximum equipment efficiency and minimal downtime in a high-paced production environment.
Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on industrial machinery, including hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and electrical systems.
Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and PLC-related issues on manufacturing equipment.
Maintain and repair production machines such as conveyors, presses, motors, pumps, gearboxes, ovens, and automated systems.
Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, and equipment manuals.
Conduct regular inspections to identify and resolve issues before equipment failure.
Assist in installation, testing, and commissioning of new machinery or equipment upgrades.
Maintain accurate maintenance records using CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System).
Ensure compliance with all safety policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
Collaborate with production teams to minimize disruption to manufacturing processes.
Recommend improvements to enhance equipment reliability and performance.
Required:
High school diploma or GED; technical certification or associate’s degree in industrial maintenance, mechatronics, or related field preferred.
3+ years of experience in a maintenance technician role within an industrial or manufacturing environment.
Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems, PLCs, motors, drives, and control systems.
Proficiency with mechanical systems, including hydraulics, pneumatics, and fabrication.
Ability to use diagnostic tools and hand/power tools safely and effectively.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to read and understand technical documentation and schematics.
Strong commitment to workplace safety.
Preferred:
Experience with automated manufacturing systems and robotics.
Welding and fabrication experience.
Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing or TPM principles.
