Job Overview:

Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Department: Maintenance

Reports To: Maintenance Manager

About the Role

We’re looking for a hands-on Maintenance Technician to support the reliable operation of our production facility. In this role, you’ll install, troubleshoot, service, and repair a broad range of plant machinery, equipment, and building systems. You’ll diagnose issues across electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems and work closely with the maintenance and production teams to keep operations running safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, maintain, and repair plant equipment including

    wire high voltage motors, read electrical prints, heat treat, vacuum heat treat a plus.

  • Identify faults and resolve breakdowns involving electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic components.

  • Install, adjust, repair, and replace electrical devices and controls, including PLC-related equipment.

  • Perform routine inspections and complete reports in line with standard procedures.

  • Carry out preventative maintenance across production areas, offices, and external/grounds areas as needed

  • Maintain accurate maintenance records, forms, and documentation.

  • Communicate equipment concerns and urgent issues promptly to the Maintenance Manager and relevant shift/production leadership.

  • Work safely and follow company policies, quality standards, and manufacturing requirements.

  • Contribute to continuous improvement efforts and maintain positive working relationships in a team environment.

  • Attend/complete process-specific training when applicable.

  • Work assigned schedules based on operational needs and assist with other duties as required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2+ years maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.

  • Basic computer skills.
